Final Mass

Today is WORLD YOUTH DAY, and the culmination of the week's events with the Final Papal World Youth Day Mass!!

His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI will celebrate Mass, along with hundreds of Bishops and priests from all around the world, for the 4 million + pilgrims gathered.

During the Mass, the Pope will speak in about 5 different languages. At the end of Mass Pope Benedict XVI will announce the host city for the next World Youth Day.

Following this there is a mass exodus as 4 million + excited and tired pilgrims all attempt to depart. This again is a huge task and could take us some time to make it back to our accommodation, where we will spend Sunday evening.
