World Youth Day 2016 will be held in Krakow, Poland in July 2016 and organisers are expecting approx. 3 million pilgrims!!

Catholic Youth Ministry, Archdiocese of Hobart, will be coordinating the Tasmanian Pilgrimage to World Youth Day 2016. If you are looking for an exhilarating, challenging, fun and spirit-filled adventure of faith then look no further!

Join us on a faith-inspiring and life-enhancing pilgrimage with other young Tasmanians as we discover the historical and spiritual riches of Italy on our way to join with millions of young people and Pope Francis in the largest and most vibrant display of our Catholic Church at World Youth Day 2016. Explore the eternal city, Rome, discovering places of significance for the early Church. Follow in the footsteps of St Francis and St Clare in the beautiful Italian countryside and tranquil town of Assisi. After much consideration the decision has been made to exclude Turkey from the WYD16 itinerary following recent events and concerns for safety. The new itinerary has now been released and includes Rome and Assisi on our way to Poland. Download a copy of the new itinerary here.
